Dean Yu brings a rare combination of entrepreneurial leadership and deep financial technology expertise to his role as Chief Technology Officer at Alpha Trade. He demonstrated his capabilities early, co-founding Visionary Financials as CTO — an achievement that coincided with the completion of his undergraduate studies and laid the foundation for a distinguished career at the intersection of technology and capital markets.

Dean subsequently joined Vantage FX, one of Australia’s foremost foreign exchange brokers, where he held responsibility for the design and development of mission-critical trading and risk control systems. Working in close collaboration with the dealing desk and primary liquidity providers, he acquired a sophisticated understanding of execution infrastructure, market microstructure, and institutional risk management.

Leveraging this expertise, Dean established his own technology venture dedicated to delivering bespoke risk control and management systems to brokers and financial institutions across the full spectrum of trading models. This experience, spanning both the build and deployment of enterprise-grade financial technology, directly informs Alpha Trade’s infrastructure philosophy and operational architecture.
